Troutdale Whole House Remodel

The major renovation of a beautiful Spanish style home, on the ninth hole of the Gresham Golf
Course, in Troutdale OR, brought the majority of its interior spaces the from the pastel eighties into
the vibrant and colorful present. In the living room, we paired the neutral tones of the furniture to
showcase rich natural wood tones and used the contrast of African and Asian design elements to
make a cohesive and elegant space.

Our goal in the family room was to expand the area by removing the walls of a small nonfunctional
room to make a grand space for entertaining. Removing walls allowed the antique bamboo bar to
take center stage. Architectural and accent lighting in all rooms was necessary to bring the light
levels up to par, define space and highlight art and accessories.

In the hall bathroom, drama comes from the onyx sink which is lite from above; warm and elegant
this space serves double duty, the wife’s space on an everyday basis and the guest bath for
entertaining.
